Happy end of 2020, the year that lasted forever!
I'm still celebrating the fact that, despite this dumpster fire of a year, I finally released King's Ransom, the 13th and final installment in my long-long-long-running Tall, Dark and Dangerous series about Navy SEAL Team Ten.It took me a while, but more than twenty years ago, I'd made a promise to my readers that I'd write Thomas King and Tasha Francisco's book.Way back in 1995, I wrote Prince Joe, the first book in my Tall, Dark and Dangerous series about Navy SEAL Team Ten.In this book, a rough, tough Navy SEAL officer takes on a difficult assignment: he must sit still and be the target as he impersonates Crown Prince Tedric of Ustanzia, who is being hunted by assassins. Two years later, in 1997, Frisco's Kid, the third book in the TDD series was released. In Frisco's Kid, a SEAL officer named Alan "Frisco" Francisco faces an equally difficult challenge: caring for his five-year-old, color-pink-loving, princess-obsessed, yet-still-a-grubby-tom-boy niece, Tasha, while his sister goes into rehab. (Plus there's danger from Frisco's sister's angry ex...)
In that book, little Tasha Francisco comes face-to-face with Thomas King, a neighborhood kid, and decides then and there that when she grows up, he's the man she wants to marry. And she wants this possibly even more than she wants to someday magically transform into a princess...After writing Frisco's Kid, for more than twenty years, my most frequently asked question from readers has been: "When will you write Thomas and Tasha's story?"Here it is. (Finally!)In King's Ransom, I've brought the series full circle by giving grown-up Tasha a royal boyfriend. Yep, she's dating a crown prince--and not just any old crown prince. Her new BF is the nephew of Prince Tedric from Prince Joe. (Tasha's prince is even named after his now-deceased uncle!)It's been five years since Tasha and Thomas have last talked--they had a bit of an awkward encounter--and now they're thrown together and running for their lives...Find King's Ransom at your favorite on-line bookseller:Amazon print: https://amzn.to/2JWvCHtBN print paperback: https://bit.ly/3p35lXm

In Frisco's Kid, Tasha Francisco was a strong-willed, independent child, thrown into the temporary care of her Navy SEAL uncle, Alan "Frisco” Francisco. Years older, but still just a kid himself, Thomas King lived nearby. Tasha took one look and declared she'd marry him someday. Thomas wasn't quite so sure about that.
Now Tasha's a strong-willed, independent young woman, and Thomas is an officer and a hospital corpsman with SEAL Team Ten. When Tasha's Uncle Alan asks Thomas for a favor—to help keep his niece safe as she travels to a remote ski lodge with her wealthy boyfriend’s royal family—Thomas grimly accepts his role as Tasha's bodyguard. But things go horribly, terribly wrong, and Thomas and Tasha find themselves alone together in the freezing wilderness, on the run from the dangerous men who want her dead. Thomas knows only one thing for sure: He'll sacrifice everything and anything to keep Tasha safe. The tall, dark and dangerous Navy SEALs of Team Ten are back--with Suzanne Brockmann's signature blend of love, laughter, and a hint of danger in King's Ransom.
