Analysis Paralysis on the BIG Screen in Palm Springs!
My latest LGBTQ indie rom-com movie is going to screen at the Camelot Theatre in Palm Springs, California, four times a day, from February 1st through Valentine's Day, February 14th!An m/m rom-com on the BIG screen on Valentine's Day! YOU GUYS!! This makes me so so SO happy/proud/hopeful !!!!! (Clears throat, tries to be more professional with this EXCITING announcement.)
Analysis Paralysis is kicking off the Palm Springs Cultural Center's Cinema Diverse: "Best of the Fest" series of LGBTQ movies with a two-week run, and....Okay, truth is, we could use a whole lotta word-of-mouth to help spread the news.If Jules and Robin made you smile, if my books and love-is-love message brought you joy, if you ever wanted to say "Thank you" to me, in any way, shape, or form... Please, PLEASE help us get the word out! These days it's incredibly rare for ANY indie movie to screen for two weeks in a movie theater, let alone an m/m rom-com like Analysis Paralysis. We are the very rarest of rare, shiny unicorns. And we'd love to succeed. We want to fill as many seats as possible at the Camelot Theatre in Palm Springs, in hopes that we'll be able to use that success to sweet-talk other LGBTQ-friendly art houses (maybe one near you...?) into giving us a limited run, too. (And as always we hope to carve out a little space for the next LGBTQ rom-com movie that someone is making right... now...)If you're willing to help (TY, even just for considering this!), please share/tweet/post/like our news/links/trailer/instagram/twitter/facebook page via your social media. (I've posted about this on my facebook page at SuzanneBrockmannBooks and on Twitter, where I'm @SuzBrockmann)If social media's not your thing, then please email your love-is-love-believing friends with a forward of this newsletter. Ask your friends and family to share the news about #AnalysisParalysisPalmSprings and #LGBTQMoviesOnTheBigScreen with their friends and family who might live in SoCal or the Palm Springs area. (Thank you SO much!!)
Here are the deets to share wildly, if you will:

About Analysis Paralysis: Tyler wants to meet his cute neighbor Shane, but every step is preceded by a flurry of imagined, hilarious disasters. Through laugh-out-loud romantic misadventures, Analysis Paralysis explores the intersection of imagination and anxiety, and the courage to reach for love. Director’s Note from Jason T. Gaffney: “I grew up loving screwball, slapstick romantic comedies. But even as a little boy, I recognized something important was missing from the films I adored: representation of LGBTQ people like me. In Analysis Paralysis, I strove to push the envelope by producing a joyfully funny “boy meets boy” movie with two out gay leads set in the LGBTQ-inclusive world in which I grew up.” P.S. AP's main character Tyler is a YA writer which means he is also a reader. Analysis Paralysis positively drips with real books. We worked hard to get releases to use cover art from our real-life fav authors including Victoria Helen Stone, Farrah Rochon, Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy, Jeff Adams, Pintip Dunn, and Alex Sanchez (Rainbow High!! Jace still has his 2003 copy, purchased when he was a teen!!). The amazing LGBTQ YA publisher Harmony Ink also gave us permissions and donated a huge pile of great books! (And of course, you'll see Tyler reading quite a bit of Suzanne Brockmann...) Last but way not least...
